26일 건강보험심사평가원의 말에 따르면 2012년 국내 탈모 환자 수는 23만3628명으로 2013년(40만8534명)대비 18% 올랐다. 연령별로는 30대가 23.6%로 1위를 차지했고 이어 20대(20.3%)다. 같은 기간 탈모 치료에 쓰인 총 진료비도 196억원에서 301억원으로 58% 늘어났다.
